Helping you keep pace in industries moving at the speed of light

Guilty Confession

I’m obsessed with early western explorers.

This obsession started from a young age, since I was 10 years old.

Growing up in Oregon provided ample opportunities to geek out on Oregon Trail history.

To the points where even when it wasn’t Halloween, I dressed up as a pioneer and I went to live historical re-enactments…

let alone playing the Oregon Trail video game for hours and hours!

Fast forward a few years…as a young adult, I read Stephen Ambrose’s Undaunted Courage.

As a result… my love for explorers grew which resulted in researching more about Lewis & Clark history (Google this if you don’t know what I’m talking about).

I rented an RV and traveled the Lewis & Clark trail (which was amazing by the way).

My love for the Lewis & Clark Trail has grown so much…I go to the festivals, I have visited Monticello etc…

Fun fact – I have been known to give memberships for the Lewis & Clark Trail Heritage Foundation as birthday gifts to my family and friends! (not every recipient shared my passion!)

…hopefully you can tell my passion for explorers runs deep.

When I watched Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission to Space… it was full-blown waterworks…

I even dressed my kids up as baby pioneers!

My love for early Western explorers has been fully transferred to the pioneers of aerospace, satellite and defense…

When I had the opportunity to pick my niche as a recruiter… it was a no-brainer.

Sidenote: I grew up in a recruiting office. When I was 12, my dad purchased an FPC recruiting franchise.

It was all hands-on deck in the beginning…I got to skip school to set up the office computers on the first day the firm launched.

In my 20s, I worked jobs outside recruiting… they were not for me.
I missed the connections I made with clients and colleagues… and the thrill of the close.

It also feels super incredible when you can positively impact someone’s life by showing them an opportunity they never imagined.

7 years ago, I rejoined my family’s recruiting firm.

One of my early clients was a high-growth aerospace & defense hardware firm.

This niche is filled with war heroes and innovators that embrace the pioneering spirit! (which as you have seen above I am truly fond of).

They are innovators and leaders willing to take risks to explore new frontiers and keep our world safe–and I value curiosity, integrity and hard work.

I believe everyone should be safe and experience wonderment.

To be in an industry that celebrates and spotlights these values is incredible, and I know I have only just scratched the surface.
